Pros: I didn't know what I was missing. This stethoscope is everything it claims to be. It took a day to get used to the pressure needed to hear high and low pitch sounds but it really does work. Great sound quality. I'll never go back to another stethoscope. The engraving looks great. No mistakes, great spacing. No disappointments with this order.

Pros: It's a Littman Master Cardiology stethoscope - it sounds just as great as you expect it to. I really liked the selection at stethoscope.com, the prices were fair, and my purchase arrived at my door 2 days after I ordered it. Unfortunately, I had to buy a new stethoscope after I misplaced my old one. So, I paid the extra bucks to get my new one engraved, and it's worth it. Already, my new stethoscope has been returned to me once after I left it in the ICU.

Pros: Breath, heart, and lung sounds are really clear! Able to hear any abnormalities easily. I tried out the Littmann 3100 Electronic stethoscope and feel that the Master Cardiology has a clearer sound and has less noise from the tube. I am very happy with this product.

Pros: I ordered this scope for my daughter's High School Graduation gift. She graduated High School and also Graduated from her EMT program. She will be going on to nursing school and will need a scope that is the best quality she can get. This is hands down the best I could have purchased for her. I made the mistake of ordering from another website that scammed me and I never got the scope in the mail. Luckly I found this site and within 2 days had it in hand just in time for her celebration.

I have to admit I was slightly worried about using the website because I've never heard of it and have only purchased stethoscopes through well-known catalogues. But I'm so glad I did! Pros: I can't speak to the quality of the stethoscope, because I bought it as a gift for a friend who is starting Case Western Medical School this year. The service I received from Stethoscope.com was excellent. I had it sent to my address, so I could remove the receipt. The recipient has not received the gift yet. When I ordered it I neglected to ask her preference in the color of the tubing. I bought maroon and it turns out she'd prefer black. I hope I can buy just the black tubing and switch it, because I had it engraved.

Cons: No real problems, although I would suggest a little "padding" in the outer (shipping) box so the inner box does not rattle around. No damage, just created concern before I opened the box.

Pros: Excellent acoustics. The tunable diaphragm is easy to use. Attachment device is included for pediatric assessment, as well as extra earpieces to ensure proper fit. The engraving looks very professional, and I love the plum color. I appreciate that this company allows up to 20 characters for the engraving... No one else could fit my hyphenated name.

Cons: The metal diaphragm is much heavier than the traditional Littmann diaphragm and hangs somewhat awkwardly around the neck. Takes a little getting used to.

I was happy to learn engraving was available and had it engraved with my name and state certification number. Pros: I have used multiple stethoscopes during my training and career including electronic ones. The prices range from $1 to over $300 dollars. Through time I have found the Master Cardiology to be the most convenient, consistent, and easy to use stethoscope. The ergonomics allows easy use in ones hands. The one bell system allows for convenience, saving time for not having to adjusting between bells. The quality of sound is excellent and is comparable (if not the same as some) to the electronics but you don't have to worry about turning it on and off.

Cons: It is a little more expensive than entry level scopes but cheaper than the electronics scopes. If it is something you are going to use for a long time or going to learn on, you will not be disappointed in your investment. Dollar for dollar this is the piece I wish I would have chosen when I first started.

Pros: I am very pleased with my stethoscope so far. I have chronic ear effusions and sinus issues and breath sounds like fine crackles are somewhat difficult for me to auscultate at times. I feel that this stethoscope is allowing me to do a better job at picking up those tough to hear breath sounds. I don't have a problem with heqrt sounds but the stethoscope is really great with the heart sounds also. I like my ingraved name also.

Cons: I have had 3 Cardiology III Littmann stethoscopes. Each one of them got cracked tubings where they rest on the back of my neck. I wear no lotions. This has gotten very expensive for me buying new stethoscopes everytime they start cracking. I work long hours and wear scrubs.

Pros: This is replacment for a Littman that I have used for over 15 years, so quality is expected. I like the look of the Black edition quite a bit. Stethoscope.com was very easy to work with. The product was easy to order and arrived promptly. I got the engraving on the raised part of the bell and it looks really sharp. Stethoscope.com allowed more letters than most other sites, and was one of the few that engrave on that particular part of the bell, which I think looks the best if you are looking for a professional, understated look.
