The Welch Allyn model 11810 PanOptic™ Ophthalmoscope (shown with available Lithium Ion Handle) offers the best possible viewing of the eye. The PanOptic™ ophthalmoscope features a 5X larger view of the fundus than achieved with any standard ophthalmoscope in an undilated eye. A 25 degree field-of-view is realized vs. the standard 5 degree field along with a 26% increase in magnification. Affordable new head is compatible with all existing Welch Allyn 3.5V battery handles and wall transformers
The Welch Allyn PanOptic™ Ophthalmoscope features the patented Axial Point Source optics that increase field of view to 25º and magnification 26% over standard ophthalmoscopes. Revolutionary patient side eyecup helps stabilize optics while reducing ambient light and providing a comfortable seal. The practitioner side focus wheel adjusts from -20 to +20 diopters for accurate examinations. Apertures provided include micro,small,large,slit and half moon. A red free filter comes standard. Please note this item will work with any standard Welch Allyn 3.5v power source.
